Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge.. IS BACK!

Yea, you read it right. Black Circuit Lounge is back!! with Brazilian twist this time!

I have given a chance to attend BCL in April with another four friends and believe me, it was a blast for five of us! It marked a very memorable night for us. From the cars to the host to the money-can't-buy passes holders to the DJs to the free flow of Black Labels, world's Scotch Whisky and the number one whisky in Malaysia! everything is so well-planned by the
management.

After seven months, it is back! i'm so excited about it! This time the event will be held at KL Live on 26th November. Let's read what the brand manager, Charles James Wright said..

Our loyal fans and A-list guests in Malaysia have come to expect the best entertainment quality and service at a JOHNNIE WALKER® event. As an official partner of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes since 2005, JOHNNIE WALKER® will not disappoint when Malaysians are invited by the JOHNNIE WALKER® Striding Man to Step Inside the Black Circuit and experience the international glamour of what has become a must-attend party for the stylish and sophisticated. We are committed to ensuring that the JOHNNIE WALKER® Black Circuit Lounge VIP race parties always delivers exclusive insider-access into the extraordinary world of motorsport and the high-flying lives of progressive Formula 1™ drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, as they continuously pursue further success around the globe.

He is absolutely correct! BCL is a must-attend party for the stylish and sophisticated! JW is the global partner of Formula One team VMM since 2005 because they both share the values of innovation, winning and leadership.

Let reminisce!

Who were the line-up DJs during April BCL? I believe most of you have heard of her, DJ Sophia Lin from USA! together with DJ Enferno, DVDJ I-Tek and Malaysia very own sweetheart, DJ Faith. I was one of the lucky ones who get to take picture with the sexy DJ Sophia!

And this time, this luxury race party will feature multi-platinum producers and DJ-to-the-stars Clinton Sparks from USA

stunning Latin American DJ Von Kiss, DJ Mr. Gin from Taiwan and DJ Nikki from Malaysia will be spinning for the A-listers at the Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge!

The most excited question has hit me! What should I wear if I ever get to be the lucky one once again? I would pick yellow toga dress and black killer heels to match the style and sophistication of Johnnie Walker with the energy and glamour of the pulsating Brazil GP to the BCL for a high-flying Formula One lifestyle experience!
+ Christian Louboutin Lady Peep-Toe Slingback Pump

Let's pick your outfits and step inside the Black Circuit Lounge with Johnnie Walker for an inside access into the style and sophistication of the world of Formula One with me!

Want to get yourself a money-can't-buy pass for this race party? There are two ways:

The first one:
Like the Johnnie Walker Malaysia Fan Page and enter the contest before 18 November 2011 to win the VIP passes! you'll get four passes if you're the lucky one! say PHEW! They extended it until 18 nov! supposed to end on 15 nov.

The second one:
Answer the following question in my comment box and leave your name and email address along with your Facebook URL to win! The question is:

Name a Malaysian public personality who you think epitomizes the meaning of “Keep Walking”

For example:
Tony Fernandes, in my opinion epitomizes the meaning of “Keep Walking”. Reason being, his bold – no quitting attitude brought Air Asia to where it is today; being one of the World’s best no frills carrier. September 11 was believed to be the worst time to start an airline company, however Tony braved through the impossible and proved them wrong in the statistics by clearing debts and breaking even on the financial front in just three years.

Please remember. NEVER drink and drive. Keep Walking.

Tailoring in Phuket

For men: if you ever go to Phuket, please get yourself a custom made tuxedo/suit back. Tailoring seems very popular in Phuket. You can see the tailoring business is growing like mushroom in the town, tailor shops are like everywhere! If you want good quality suit, make sure you don't just walk into any tailor shop and get yourself measured by them. Choose a good one. We went to Peach Tailor on our first day. We got to know Peach Tailor from Bodega staff. Their service is very good, after bodega staff helped us to call Peach Tailor, Mr Jaroon(the tailor)'s wife came to Bodega and picked us up then headed to their shop. It's actually Mr and Mrs Jaroon's shop which the husband does tailoring and alterations while the wife doing dry cleaning.

Their family portrait. Eldest son's name is Peach and second son is Mark. Peach Tailor is named upon the eldest son. Mr and Mrs Jaroon are very friendly and you can ask them anything, from tailoring to interesting places in phuket. They wouldn't mind.

Their shop. several big dry cleaning machines inside

as you can see from the card below. we supply the finest garments tailored from high quality fabric of Italian and british origin. yes, the fabric that they are using are all very good quality! and another yes! your satisfaction is guaranteed. if cutting is not right, they'll alter until it's perfect for you :)

Mr Jaroon explaining and showing the fabric from Italy.

ta-da. eng siang with his new suit and Mr Jaroon on right. satisfaction is guaranteed. haha

For women: evening gowns and dresses are available for custom made too! :D

They have website too! here you go.

P/S: if you want to go for this, it's better to go on your first day of your trip. or 3 - 4 days before you leave.

Choose the right tailor ;)

KiKi by Fong Lye @KLCC

Tried Fong Lye at The Gardens twice but not KiKi. The name of the shop reminds me of Kiki Lala, the children apparels. KiKi is located at KLCC. Both Fong Lye and Kiki always so pack during the lunch and dinner hours.

The interior and the furniture are same with Fong Lye.

Trying to cut down drinking cold drinks so ordered the rose and oolong tea :)

The appetizer - Sweet potato balls. For me, it is nice because it is not too sweet. This is a must to order if you visit KiKi or Fong Lye.

Sweet & Sour fish served with rice

Ginger onion beef

Didn't order any desserts this time. Try their desserts if you pay a visit! It is nice and worthy. For me, the main course is just so so. I only like their sweet potato balls and desserts.

Facon Education Fair

Worked at the Facon Education Fair last weekend. Helping out at Education at Ireland booth. Thanks to Chee Tat and I get to work at edu fair! after brief by Mr Ck on friday, i realized that study at Ireland is really attractive! The tuition fees are comparable with the famous private universities in Malaysia. If you want to know more about the details or you wish to further studies at overseas, you could contact Mr CK or visit their website here. :) On that day we were helping two universities which are Dundalk Institution of Technology and Griffith College. Google them now to know more about them! :)

Where we worked?we worked at KLCC. the hall where you guys always visit during PC Fair. I didn't been to PC fair before and it was my first time to step into that hall. no joke.

I wore heels on my first day and it non-stop torturing me for more than 8 hours. X_X glad that the blisters are better now. I can't forget that i wore xm's shoes to walk from convention hall to klcc entrance and chee tat & sue jiun helped me to buy the bathroom sandals from watson and I walked around in KLCC with that! People looked at me with weird expression but that time i only care about my feet! Anyway, I had much fun working with them! :D

Didn't get to take picture with Mr CK as he was very busy running up and down. with the DKIT and Griffith College representatives.

Closer shot
Do not ever choose the wrong course and university! like me. Best of luck!

Similan Islands

Finally... the Similan Islands post is up! hehe. Similan Islands is a group of nine islands in Andaman Sea, southern Thailand. Do you know that Similan is one of the most famous diving sites in Thailand, and noted as one of the top ten dive destinations in the world according to the National Geographic Society. (from my best from, wikipedia =p) that is why there are so many divers on the same boat with us! how i wish i could join them :( so divers, jot down and make it your next stop! :)

Whewwww~ It's a giant size swimming pool! Look at the crystal clear water! I just can't stop yelling when i see this! just too amazing, no? By the way, this is Koh Similan, the largest island of the nine islands i have mentioned just now. The people are swimming so happily.

We wanted to get there too! trust me, it's not easy as the rock is very steep slippery. Thanks to one malaysian tourist who helped us and he injured his own leg.

you may now start whoa-ing!

and after strolling along the white soft sandy beach, we climbed up to the view point to take some breathtaking shots. The weather is crazily hot and we were barefoot because we left our slippers at the boat. how smart. our feet were burning and we were keep jumping after walked on this staircase.

the pathway.

From the view point. SPECTACULAR!

AMAZZZINNGG! in Similan islands, you don't need to find a nice angle to shoot because every angle is too amazing, you can just simply press on your shutter and you will have nice picture saved in your memory card =)

the crowds here are okay. it is much lesser than the crowds in Phi Phi, well that's a good thing for me. :) The people look so tiny here, so cute.

❤ so blue! so clear!

:)

and next, snorkelling!

after snorkelling, we had our lunch at the national park. The lunch is included in the package.

our tour guide is the third one from the left. he is nice.

Rice, Vege, spaghetti, tom yum, fruits.

After we had our lunch, the couple went for a swim and I just laying down on beach relaxing and taking some amazing pictures. The crazy weather apparently very good for taking pictures. haha. ❤ ❤ ❤

Sky is so blue!

sunbathing

Time to aboard our boat and head to the last stop! which is also snorkelling.

hiak hiak! xD
